Wheel Thrown mug fired in a Cone 6 (2232°F) soda kiln. Soda is introduced into the kiln near the end of the firing (see video below). Soda vapor combines with the clay body and the glaze put on prior to loading the kiln. It creates a variable glaze in addition to the overall glaze used initially with deposition depending on where it is in the kiln. Mug is 3.25”W x 3.25H with capacity of 8-9oz. Dishwasher safe and the glazes are non-toxic. Recommend hand washing.
